New Flight Charters Highlighted in Local Jackson Hole News

Jackson Hole's own private jet charter company, New Flight Charters, was highlighted in the February 16 issue of the Jackson Hole News & Guide, the regions award-winning and largest newspaper.

The article written by Katy Niner for the Business section, focused on the increase in private jet traffic recently at Jackson Hole Airport.  Entitled "Jets return to airport in end of 2010".  The article begins "Private jets are alighting on Jackson once again.  Echoing the Federal Aviation Administration's 2010 report, New Flight Charters, a Jackson-based private air charter company, saw a steady increase in traffic in 2010."

Ms. Niner goes on to examine the similarities in New Flight Charters business, the local air traffic increases, and the national reports from the FAA.  The article highlights a late 2010 increase of more than 10% in private jet traffic over late 2009, and includes quotes from New Flight Charters' president Rick Colson and company charter flight statistics and costs.

Noted was New Flight Charters' 26 Jackson Hole flights in January 2011, vs. 20 flights in the same month of 2009, an increase of 30%.  The article goes on to cover the seasonal summer and winter swings in Jackson Hole private jet traffic, and gives an optimistic view of the coming summer months.
